Introducing 5K Your Way, a FREE running improvement initiative with double Olympian David Matthews!

The best way to start achieving your fitness goals is by setting realistic targets, it can really make the difference between sticking at it our giving up. That is why Olympian, Irish Record Holder and Sport Ireland Campus Athletics Academy Coach David Matthews has designed a fitness plan for all abilities to help you reach your best 5km times in the next 5 weeks.

David has divided up the training schedule based on different abilities levels so that everyone has a goal to work towards. The Sport Ireland Campus Fitness team have also created some mobility videos for you to do during the programme to help you avoid injury and stay on track.
