Badminton Skill Clinic with Olympian Nhat Nguyen
Give your child the opportunity to gain exclusive insights into elite Badminton training and breaking records from two-time Olympian Nhat Nguyen at this special Badminton clinic for kids aged 8-11 or 12-15 years.
This is a fantastic opportunity for your child to join a two-hour skill clinic at the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena, where Nhat trains with other Badminton Ireland champions.
Nhat will share tips and insights from his expertise and experience to elevate their game and hone their badminton abilities, focusing on the development of specialised techniques and strategies used by champions.

Each clinic is 2 hours, including 90 minutes of personalised coaching and interactive drills on the Badminton court, followed by a 30-minute classroom session to deepen game understanding, a Q+A session and an opportunity to get an autograph or take pictures with Nhat.
Inspiration from the Best!
Nhat won the European U17 title when he was 15, the same year as his first Irish senior title. He was a European junior bronze medallist in 2018 when he also made the quarter-finals of World Juniors and the Youth Olympics and made his Olympic debut in Tokyo in 2021.
In 2023 he made the semi-finals of a Super 300 (badminton’s second tier) in Orleans (France) and won his group at the European Games before bowing out in the last 16 to the reigning Olympic champion Victor Axelsen.
Winning the Irish Open last winter was pivotal as his first international victory at senior level. In 2024 he made the quarter-finals of two Super 300 tournaments in Orleans and the German Open and was narrowly beaten in the last 16 at the Europeans Championships in April.

Nhat will be doing a Q+A session where participants are invited to ask and discuss anything badminton-related. This will also be an opportunity to get an autograph or take pictures with Nhat.
