What age groups are the kids camps suitable for? 

Kids camps at Sport Ireland Campus are designed for children aged approximately 3 to 17 years, with specific amps tailored to different age groups.

Where are the kids camps located? 

All camps take place at Sport Ireland Campus, Snugborough Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, D15 EPN4.

When are the kids camps on?

Sport Ireland Campus runs seasonal camps (subject to change) during:

  • October Mid-Term Break
  • Christmas Holidays
  • February Mid-Term Break
  • Easter Holidays
  • Summer Holidays

What types of kids camps are available? 

There are a variety of camps including multi-sport camps, aquatic camps, gymnastics camps and teen development programmes.

How do I book a kids' camp?

You can book online through the official Sport Ireland Campus website by selecting your preferred camp and date.

How much do kids' camps cost? 

Prices typically range from €60 - €200 depending on the type and duration of the camp.

 

Daily Experience

What are the camp hours? 

Most camps run from 9am to 3pm, with optional early drop-off and late pick up available. Timings can vary based on which camp your child is in.

What does a typical day at camp look like?

A typical day includes warm-ups, structured sports activities, lunch breaks, and fun games.

What should my child bring to a camp?

Children should wear comfortable sportswear, bring a packed lunch and water, and any specific gear required (e.g. swimwear for aquatics camps).

 

Suitability & Safety

Are the camps suitable for beginners?

Yes, most camps are designed to cater to all ability levels, from beginners to more experiences participants.

Do children need to be able to swim? 

Only aquatics-focused camps require swimming ability. Multi-sport camps may include supervised water activities in AquaZone (not required to take part).

Are the coaches qualified?

Yes, camps are led by experiences and qualified coaches in a safe, structured environment.

What is the supervision ratio? 

Child-to-coach rations are managed to ensure safety and individual attention. There is a 1:12 ratio for coaches and kids.

 

Practical Concerns

What happens if the weather is bad? 

Many activities take place indoors or can be adapted, so camps run in most weather conditions.

Are there options for early drop-off and late pick-up? 

Yes, extended hours are typically available to accommodate working parents/guardians.

Can children with additional needs attend? 

Yes, our Inclusive Camps accommodate children with additional needs. It is recommended to contact the campus in advance to discuss requirements.
