Sport Ireland Campus will again host the BeActive Campus Open Week in 2025, which takes place from September 23-30 as part of European Week of Sport.

The BeActive Campus Open Week features a series of free ‘come and try’ classes and events in partnership with National Governing Bodies (NGBs) of sport, with options suitable for all ages and skill levels.

Sport Ireland CEO Dr Úna May said: “The BeActive Campus Open Week was an enormous success in 2024. The energy and enthusiasm of the local community and visitors was truly inspiring.  This year once again, there is something for everyone, with over 20 NGBs taking part.”

The initiative – which is co-funded by the European Commission and Sport Ireland as part of European Week of Sport – aims to increase the level of participation in sport and physical activity in the EU.

Sport Ireland Campus Chief Operating Officer Michael Murray said: “We had a great influx of people experiencing the world class facilities of the Sport Ireland Campus at the Open Week in 2024. This year will be bigger and better, with some exciting flagship events and activities throughout the week.’
