EuroHockey Championship II, Men 2023 at Sport Ireland Campus

Sport Ireland Campus hosted the Men’s EuroHockey Championship II from July 23-29 where Ireland successfully won the EuroHockey Championship II title.  An outcome that also saw the Irish gain one of the two spots at next January's Olympic qualifying tournament.

Eight teams competed, divided into two Pools consisting of four countries each. The participating countries were Czech Republic, Ukraine, Portugal and Ireland in Pool A and Scotland, Italy, Turkiye and Switzerland in Pool B.

During this exciting week, crowds enjoyed top-level hockey, an opportunity to see our women’s team in action as they played a number of friendly matches, alongside a host of other activities from food vendors, fun zones, hockey activities, and more during the event at Sport Ireland Campus.
